A high denomination Remainder from a coveted bank and a rare place of issuance. All features are well preserved on this early example prepared on light banknote security paper. Unlike the HSBC, which used different vignettes and designs for different banks, the Chartered Bank simply changed the places of issues and sometimes the color. A difficult example to acquire as an issued note. This example is one of a mere four examples graded in the PMG Population Report, denting the scarcity of this Remainder.
