New Zealand Bank of New Zealand 1 Pound ND (1901-18) Pick S212s Specimen PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ. A beautiful large format example with the same design as the £5, £10 and £50 prior notes. It carries serial numbers 200001 to 30000. This note has a roulette punched SPECIMEN at the bottom and a small printer's annotation in the upper left margin "October 1909." Unlike the other notes of this design, the brown back is entirely different with the two Maoris and Kiwi vignettes flanking two figures in the center. Third party grading company mentions this note is unaffected by issues in selvage and annotations are present.
