Singapore Board of Commissioners of Currency 500 Dollars ND (1972) Pick Unlisted TAN#O-7a Front and Back Archival Photographs PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ; Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. A rare and interesting two-piece prototype, as it appears to be the basis for two denominations of this series. The face side is that of the issued $500 in the series. The back however, which features the Istana, was not used for this denomination, but rather, was used for the $10,000 denomination that was first issued in 1973. Each uniface side is matted to cardstock for rigidity. Beautiful photographs and assuredly rare.
