IONIA, Miletos. Circa 340-325 BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 3.48 g, 2h). Timostratos, magistrate. Laureate head of Apollo left / Lion standing left, head right; star above, monogram to left, ΤΙΜΟΣΤΡΑΤ[ΟΣ] in exergue. Deppert 222 (V19/R–); SNG Copenhagen –. Good VF, toned, area of corrosion on reverse from 7-9 o'clock and on edge. Deppert-Lippitz lists only one specimen for this magistrate (Paris 1758).
