Hadrian. Circa 8th century AD. PB Seal (31mm, 14.62 g, 12h). Standing eagle with uplifted wings, head right, holding wreath in beak; above, cruciform invocative monogram within circular pelleted border / Cruciform monogram (ΑΔΡΙΑΝω) surrounded by circular inscription between two wreath borders. Zacos & Veglery 624b. VF, gray-brown patina, some corrosion and minor deposits.
