Republic. Inner Mongolia Jingbao "Mirror" Sycee of 50 Taels ND (c. 1912-1948) Certified AU55 By Gong Bo Grading, Cribb-Unl. (cf. Class IX.C.) 106.3x73.2x60.7mm. 1905.5gm. Showing 5 stamps, the right reading: "Min Guo Nian Yue" (The Republic of China Year Month), the upper left reading: "Xi Bao Zhen" (Town of XiBao, nowadays Baotou, in Inner Mongolia), the lower left: "De Xing Hao" (foundry name), the one below: Diao Fa Wu (Smith name) and the one up above: "Zu Se" (pure color/pure silver). A sturdy ingot, the stamps all boldly cut with a distinctive round-globular border around the lower characters. A Republican type seemingly missed by Cribb.
