Qing-Republic. Hebei Shizuyinbao ("Pure Silver") Sycee of 10 Taels ND (early 20th century) Certified MS60 by Gong Bo Grading, cf. Cribb-XXII.A (different smith and province). 62x42mm. 373.9gm. Stamped in two columns, the right reading: "Gong Shi Zu" (Assayed, Pure), and the left reading: Xiang Rui Xing (Foundry name). A sturdy ingot, the stamps showing crude but discernible characters. Singular for being produced in the Hebei area during the Republic.
