"Yi Dao" (one knife) in gold inlay; on blade: "Ping Wu Qian" (worth five thousand); blank on reverse. A fascinating issue showcasing the ingenuity of early Chinese numismatic endeavors. This current offering has well above-average surfaces with a mocha coloration. Slight encrustations of an olive-brown tone are found along the edges and crevices. The gold-inlay is still mostly brilliant after all these hundreds of years. This is an important offering sure to inspire vigorous bidding.
