Sweden 1958 P-49 PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ 10,000 Kronor
An iconic type from Sweden that at the time of issue was by far the highest denomination in circulation (with the next highest a 1,000 Kronor note, which continues to be the highest denomination in circulation in Sweden to this day). Its high face value meant that this type saw limited use, but it also meant that few people at the time would be able to put this aside in a contemporary collection. Thankfully, after a brief stint in circulation, this particular example was saved and it comes to us in original Extremely Fine condition. This type, with the stately portrait of King Gustav VI Adolf was only issued with a 1958 date and was the second (and final) type of this ultra-high denomination.
