Bust of Christ / Legend, cross on three steps, IS XS | BAS - ILE | BAS - ILE in three lines (Jesus Christ, King of Kings). SB 1823. Near Very Fine; pleasing glossy brown patina with pale green and red contrasting highlights; struck on a broad flan. Interesting and unusual double strike on both sides.
