SICILY. Syracuse. Agathocles. 317-289 B.C. Æ litra. 9.29 gm. 20 mm. Bust of Artemis right, quiver over shoulder, ΣΩΤΕΙΡΑ before / Winged thunderbolt, ΑΓΑΘΟΚΛΕΟ[Σ] above, ΒΑΣΙΛΕΟΣ below. CNS 142. Good Very Fine; reddish patina with minor green deposits, some roughness but the lettering and the design are particularly clear. Good style.
