Lambayeque Dragon Bottle. A marvelous Lambayeque (Sican) Dragon bottle from Peru, ca. 700 – 1300 AD. This exceptional example is 8” high and features four panels depicting a shaman performing a rain ceremony. The bridge is decorated with water symbols and the characteristic serpent heads protruding from under the spouts are nicely detailed. In exceptional condition, with strong mineral encrustation.
