Watch List notes:

Brazil (Rio mint), 4000 reis, Joao Prince Regent, 1816, REGENS on reverse, encapsulated NGC MS 62, finest and only known specimen in NGC census. Russo-578; KM-312. Rare and highly sought one-year type with different legends ending with PORT.BRAS.ET.ALG on obverse and starting with PRINCEPS.REGENS on reverse, extremely rare in this grade, with superb strike and luster, light yellow color. It should be noted that, while this coin is the only one listed in the NGC census for this rare type, the Eliasberg specimen at MS 65 appears in the census as mis-attributed to the common type (REGENS on obverse).
