COINS, EUROPEAN TERRITORIES, ISLE OF MAN James Stanley, 10th Earl of Derby (1702-1736), 'Copper' Proof Penny, 1733, Stanley crest, the eagle with child upon cap of maintenance, plain cap, date below, rev Triune, the pellets in the armoury of the Triune are annulets rather than the usual rounded dots (Pr 14; S 7406; KM 5a). Good extremely fine with lustre, Pridmore notes this variety is very rare.
