COINS, CHANNEL ISLANDS, JERSEY Victoria (1837-1901), Three Piece Bronze Specimen Set, 1/48-Shilling, 1/24-Shilling and 1/12-Shilling, 1877H (Pr 54A, 37A, 12A). As struck, with golden tone, the two larger denominations appear to have been lacquered but still have a bit of tone, the 1/48-Shilling is not lacquered and brilliant. (3)
ex A L T McCammon collection, Baldwin's Auction 20, 11 October 1999, lot 201
The number of pieces that came out in 1975 from the Heaton Archive only gives us a partial answer as to how many Specimen sets were struck, as they were known to exist, with and without the H before 1975. But we know four each of the larger pieces and nine of the 1/48-Shilling were in the Mint holdings.

Estimate: £400-600
