A COLLECTION FORMED BY PAUL STEVENS, SULTANATES Fath Khan (striking coins in AH 760), Gold Tanka, Iqlim al-Sharq, AH 761, citing al-Mu'tasid, 10.95g (G&G D505). About extremely fine, rare, exceptional with a legible mint and date. Fath Khan was awarded the right to strike coinage in his own name in 760h, by his father Firuz Tughluq. Iqlim al-Sharq was his domain and later became the independent Sultanate of Jaunpur.
