Sweden, Karl XII SM ½ daler SM (plate money) 1710 537 g. Avesta. Countermarked with 1718 counterstamp on obverse and Three crowns on reverse. According to the countermarking procedures only plates issued according to coinage act of 1715 should be countermarked. We have found two examples of this phenomenon on a 1/2 daler 1710, as well as one on 2 daler 1710 mentioned in SMB. Unusual variety for the plate money specialist! Corroded. RRRR.
