COLONIA BRITANICA DE JAMAICA. KM# 4.5 – 1 Shilling 8 Pence (Ca. 1758). NGC F15.- Resellos con iniciales GR floreadas del rey Jorge II de Gran Bretaña sobre un 2 Reales 1750 Mo M (KM# 86.1 A&C# 289). Aplicados como un intento del gobierno inglés para monetizar sus economías sin tener que fabricar moneda, usando como huéspedes monedas españolas provenientes de las cecas de indias, el proyecto falló y terminó siendo descontinuado en 1759 siendo actualmente muy difícil encontrar piezas sobrevivientes con estos resellos. Excelente definición en el resello sobre los mundos, ligera pedida de diseño al centro en el resello del lado opuesto, huésped con desgaste uniforme por circulación que conserva gran cantidad de elementos visibles. Una de las más decentes que hemos observado y RARA EN ESTA DENOMINACIÓN.

Counterstamps with flowered GR initials of King George II of Great Britain on a 2 Reales 1750 Mo M (KM# 86.1 A&C# 289). Applied as an attempt by the English government to monetize their economies without having to manufacture currency, using Spanish coins from the mints of the Indies as guests, the project failed and ended up being discontinued in 1759 being currently very difficult to find surviving pieces with these counterstamps. Excellent definition on the Counterstamp on the worlds, slight design pedestal to the center on the opposite side, host with uniform circulation wear that retains a lot of visible elements. One of the most decent we have seen and RARE IN THIS DENOMINATION.
