KM# 376.5 (D&P-Do01) – HO-F1/S7 – 8 Reales 1824 Durango Do RL. NGC AU55.- Variedad de serpiente plegada y sumisa, "LIBERTAD" pequeña en gorro, subtipo denominado como "Staggered ray" (rayos escalonados), según Hubbard & O'Harrow, en el que se intercalan alrededor del gorro rayos largos y cortos. De esta combinación de anverso y reverso este ejemplar ha sido fácticamente el único disponible en las últimas dos décadas. Tenues rayitas en campos, buena acuñación y particularmente finos detalles en reverso, brillo y tonificación ámbar oscuro que culmina en azul en superficies, resaltando a contraluz. A solo un grado de ser "TOP" de esta variante, de la cual solo dos ejemplares se reportan en el censo de NCG. Este ejemplar se realizó en Stack´s Bowers, en Enero 2021, Lote No. 22277, por US$9,000.00 incluye comisión, lo cual no resulta fuera de lugar si consideramos el agigantado crecimiento comercial de este tipo en los últimos 4 años.

A variety of submissive folded snake, small " LIBERTAD" in cap, subtype denominated as "Staggered ray", according to Hubbard & O'Harrow, in which long and short rays are interspersed around the cap. Of this combination of obverse and reverse this specimen has been virtually the only one available in the last two decades. Faint lines in fields, good mintage and particularly fine details on reverse, dark amber luster and toning culminating in blue on surfaces, standing out on hand. Just one grade away from being "TOP" of this variant, of which only two specimens are reported in the NCG census. This specimen was sold at Stack's Bowers, January 2021, Lot No. 22277, for US$9,000.00 including commission, which is not out of place considering the tremendous commercial growth of this type in the last 4 years.
