CEYLON (SRI LANKA), Colonial. British. Victoria. 1837-1901. Lot of four (4) CU and AR Denominations. Lot includes the following denominations:

(109.1) CU Quarter Cent (14mm, 1.24 g, 12h). London mint. Dated 1890. KM 90; Y 4. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64 RB. Mostly red with just a hint of brown in a few spots. Only coin of this date ever encapsulated and no coin of the entire series graded higher.

(109.2) CU Half Cent (18mm, 2.35 g, 12h). London mint. Dated 1870. KM 91; Y 5. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63 RB. Mostly red with some mottled toning on obverse and reverse. Only two graded higher. First year of type.

(109.3) CU Cent (22mm, 4.65 g, 12h). London mint. Dated 1870. KM 92; Y 6. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64 RB. Lightly mottled toning over mostly red surfaces. Highest graded for date and only specimen graded in RB. First year of issue.

(109.4) AR 10 Cents (15mm, 1.17 g, 12h). London mint. Dated 1893. KM 94; Y 8. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63. Lightly toned over nice surfaces.
