SWEDEN. Oscar II. 1872–1907. AR Krona (25mm, 7.46 g, 12h). Stockholm mint. Lea Ahlborn and Emil Brusewitz, engravers. Dated 1883 LA EB. KM 747; Tingström 17. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63. Choice brilliant uncirculated with specimen-like surfaces. A superb coin with claims to a higher grade, and appears to be struck with a specimen die. This date in KM carries no price for uncirculated, while all the other coins of this period are priced. Obviously this coin is rare at so high a grade.
