CHINA, Qīng dynasty. Dézōng (Guāngxù). AD 1875-1908. AR Liǎng – Tael (41mm, 37.74 g, 12h). Húběi (Hu-Peh) province. Wǔchāng mint. Dated RY 30 (AD 1904/5). Small central characters. KM (Y) 128.2; Davenport 168; L&M 180. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65 WINGS APPROVED. Gem brilliant UNC with a faint hint of toning. None graded higher.

The Chinese market has exploded in the last few years. This coin now brings in the $100,000 plus range. Highest ever graded example of the small character variety. One of the truly great coins in the Lissner Collection.
