ALGERIA, Ottoman. Mahmud II. AH 1223-1255 / AD 1808-1839. AR 2 Budju (39mm, 19.6 g, 12h). Jazayir mint. Dated AH 1241 (AD 1826/7). KM 75; Davenport 1. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63. Very lightly toned over well struck satin surfaces. Highest ever graded specimen for the type, the closest being AU 58. This coin is truly remarkable.
