KOREA, Joseon dynasty. Gojong (Gwangmu). 1863-1907. AR 5 Yang (37mm, 26.91 g, 6h). Machine struck coinage. Incheon mint. Dated year 501 of the Joseon Dynasty (AD 1892). KM 1114. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63. Lovely prooflike surfaces graced with light multicolored overall toning. A scarce one year only type for this denomination. Only one graded higher at MS 64. A truly lovely specimen.
