ROMANIA, Kingdom. Carol I. 1881-1914. Lot of six (6) AL, CU, CU-NI, and AR Denominations. Lot includes the following denominations:

(864.1) CU Ban (15mm, 0.94 g, 6h). Bucharest mint; privy mark: wheat ear. Dated 1900 B. KM 26; Y 29. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66 RB. Deeply toned with hints of red coming through. Only one graded higher in MS 67 RB. Purchased from Thomas Hamilton, June 1975.

(864.2) CU 2 Bani (21mm, 1.98 g, 6h). Bucharest mint; privy mark: wheat ear. Dated 1900 B. KM. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65 RB. Choice uncirculated with a great deal of red coming through moderately toned brown surfaces. Only one graded higher in MS 66 RB.

(864.3) CU 5 Bani (24mm, 4.93 g, 6h). Bucharest mint; privy mark: wheat ear. Dated 1884 B. KM 19; Y 18. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65 BN. Moderate brown toning with lots of red luster coming through. Highest graded and none higher.

(864.4) CU-NI 10 Bani (21mm, 4.05 g, 6h). Brussels mint. Dated 1906. KM 32; Y 35. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65. Gem BU with lustrous PL surfaces and light violet-amber toning. One graded higher in MS 66. Purchased from Dennis Gill, December 1974.

(864.5) AL 25 Bani (19mm, 0.89 g, 12h). Dated 1921. KM 44; Y 47. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Gem BU. Highest ever graded specimen.

(864.6) AR 50 Bani (12mm, 2.52 g, 6h). Hamburg mint. Dated 1914. Flat edge reeding. KM 41; Y 44. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 67. Gem blast white BU with a faint hint of toning. Highest ever graded specimen. Purchased from M. Louis Teller, April 1975.
