Lincoln Cents
1914-D 1C MS65 Red PCGS. The 1914-D Lincoln cent claims a relatively low mintage of fewer than 1.2 million coins, making it a sought-after branch mint key in the popular series. In fact, the 1914-D is much scarcer in high grade than the more highly heralded 1909-S VDB issue. Most Mint State survivors show up in MS63 and MS64 in the Brown and Red and Brown categories. Fully Red coins are much scarcer.
This Gem Red representative displays deep amber-red and orange surfaces without any distracting abrasions or spots. A terrific example of this elusive Colorado issue. Population: 81 in 65 (11 in 65+) Red, 9 finer (2/24).
