Lincoln Cents
1922 1C No D, Strong Reverse, FS-401, AU58 PCGS. CAC. Die Pair 2. The average grade for this popular variety falls between VF25 and VF30. This nearly Uncirculated survivor features the usual softness on the motto and portrait, and the D mintmark is entirely missing as a result of lapping. A strong second 2 in the date is diagnostic. The reverse, struck from a fresh die, is boldly defined on the upper wheat stalks and the legends. Original brown surfaces exhibit faint accents of rose and peach-orange. CAC endorsement ensures high quality for the assigned grade.
