1880 G$1 MS68 NGC. Uniformly pristine and luminous, softly frosted luster yields rich apricot-gold color throughout shimmering fields and sharply struck design elements. Every measure of this coin's eye appeal and technical quality lives up to its lofty MS68 grade. The 1880 gold dollar comes from a low mintage of only 1,600 coins, yet examples were well saved at the time of issue.
