Indian Quarter Eagles
1912 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS. The 1912 Indian quarter eagle is among the more conditionally elusive dates in the series, though not quite as scarce in MS65 as the 1911-D or the two 1914 coins. At the Gem level, the 1912 is the fourth scarcest date in the series. This coin displays a bold strike, with well-delineated ribs on the lower headdress feathers and sharp detailing on the eagle's plumage. The reverse fields around the eagle are well preserved, while the obverse shows just a few small marks that prevent a finer grade. PCGS reports just five numerically finer representatives (2/24).
