Minturnae' Second Punic War issue. AE Sextans, after 211 BC. Obv. Head of Mercury right, wearing winged petasus; above, two pellets. Rev. Prow right; above, ROMA; below, two pellets. Cf. Cr. 56/6; RBW 214. AE. 2.85 g. 16.00 mm. Nice delicate brown patina. Good VF. This new attribution to the Minturnae mint follows the new study published by Clive Stannard.
