AUSTRIA: WWI Medals, zinc medal (31.86g), 1915, 45mm, by the Austrian Red Cross for the Successful Mediterranian Submarine Campaign of the Austro-Hungarian U-Boat Fleet by W. Hejda, fish-man monster holding tow torpedoes with UNTER-SEE below // KOTES / KREUZ KRIEGS / HILFSBÜRO / KRIEGSFÜRSORGE- / AMT / 1914-1915, plain edge, ex Jim Farr Collection. The fleet included the boat led by Captain von Trapp of Sound of Music fame. The proceeds of this medal went to soldiers' families relief.
