Watch List notes:

POTTERY. Magna Graecia. Apulia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (90 mm tall x 110 mm wide). A Blackware guttus with large, squat foot meeting wide, squat body. Spout with trumpeted end and handle at 90 degrees. Hatch mark pattern similar to Russian letter Ж surrounds edge of piece in sections separated by several vertical lines. Ribbing on nozzle tip and foot. Large, impressed head of Apollo facing forward on center of the lamp face. Handle reattached. Some surface cracking. Piece is complete and attractive.
