New Style coinage, ca. 131/0 BC(?), 10th month, Antiochus, Caraichus, and Eynom-, magistrates. Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with aphlaston, Pegasus above undecorated upturned cheek flap, protomes of four horses above visor / A-ΘE / ANTI-OXOΣ / KAΡA / IXOΣ / EΥN / OM, owl standing facing on overturned amphora inscribed with I (month); elephant to right, ΣΩ (engraver) below, all within olive wreath. Thompson 400d. HGC 4, 1602. Charming golden and peach hues.
