Late posthumous issue in name and types of Lysimachus of Thrace, Callatis, period of the 1st Mithradatic War, 88-86 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛYΣΙΜΑΧΟY, Athena enthroned left, Nike standing left in outstretched right hand, left arm resting on grounded shield, transverse spear beyond; HPO monogram below right arm, KAΛ on throne, filleted trident left in exergue. Müller 265. Lovely marigold-toned flan with eye-catching backlit luster.
