SPAIN, Seville, 4 reales, Ferdinand-Isabel, early wide-flan issue with assayer P to left of yoke and ermine to left of arrows, S to left and denomination o-iiii to right of shield, NGC VF 35, ex-Huntington. Cal-555; López de la Fuente-H5.4.4. Exceptionally broad flan (known for this early assayer and considered a different type in Calicó) that extends well past the 100% full legends, with good full inner details and a deep, rich, old cabinet toning throughout that speaks well of its time in a major collection. Pedigreed to the A.M. Huntington Collection (stated on label).
