GAUL, Volcae-Arecomici (?). Circa 75-25 BC. Diobol (Silver, 10.5 mm, 0.49 g, 11 h), Imitating Massalia. Bare head of Apollo to left; behind neck, T. Rev. M A within wheel of four spokes. F&P OBV-8; Depeyrot, Marseille 64 (Massalia). CNG E468, 2020, 4. A rare and exceptionally pleasing specimen with lovely toning. Good very fine.
