Unsigned British Museum electrotype, copying issue of Philistis, wife of Hieron II, circa 216-215 BC. Diademed and veiled head of Philistis to left; filleted thyrsos behind / Nike driving slow quadriga to right, holding reins; ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΑΣ above, A to right, ΦΙΛΙΣΤΙΔΟΣ in exergue. Prototype: BMC 553; Head, Guide period V.C, 31. Obv. = 11.40g, 26mm; Rev. = 9.00g, 26mm.
