ITALY, Papal (Papal state). Cardinal Girolamo Gastaldi. 1616-1685. Cast Æ Medal (70mm, 75.47 g, 12h). Dated 1675 (in Roman numerals). HIERONYMVS S R E PRESB CARDIN CASTALDVS, bust facing slightly right, wearing cassock and biretta; diamond stops in legend / FVNDAVIT ANNO IVBILEI MDCLXXV, coat-of-arms surmounted by galero with tassels on either side.
