AEOLIS. Myrina. Ca. mid-2nd century BC. AR tetradrachm (33mm, 16.62 gm, 1h). NGC Choice XF 5/5 - 3/5, Fine Style. Laureate head of Apollo right, hair falling in three tight ringlet curls / MYPINAIΩN, Apollo standing right, phiale in right hand, filleted laurel branch in left; omphalus and amphora at feet to right, ΠPAY monogram in left field, all in laurel border. SNG von Aulock 1660. A gorgeous example with Fine Style dies well-centered on a toned flan.
