KOREA. Purse Shape Chatelaine, ca. 19th Century.
83.20 x 97.12 mm. Mandel-101.2; KCBC-Y-2; KCY-1-18. Obverse features two high relief figures flanking the longevity symbol, all within a border of five bats; Reverse: Dog-like mythical beast surmounted by three birds with four others and calligraphy below. The obverse displays original red and blue pigmentation, with an especially vibrant orange hue found in the center longevity symbol. Slightly less pigmentation is found on the reverse, but reds and blues are noticeable around the primary devices. There is some slight residue on the reverse, and an edge nick on the obverse. However, they do little to detract from the handsome and original look to this piece. Original brass rings and hanger at top.

83.20 x 97.12 mm。 曼德爾書101.2。正面立體人形在壽字圖形兩側，周圍五隻蝙蝠環繞。反面麒麟獸形，周圍三隻鳥底部有四個字。正面原紅色塗料仍然可見，中間壽字呈現橘紅色調。反面顏色較少，但紅色藍色仍然可見。背面有少許殘餘物，正面頸部有凹痕。整體來看沒有影響。頂端有吊掛及黃銅環
