KOREA. Purse Shape Chatelaine, ca. 19th Century.
81.93 x 94.64 mm. Mandel-101.3; KCBC-Y-3; KCY-I-19. Two high relief figures flanking a longevity symbol, all within a border of bats; Reverse: Blossoming tree with three birds around, surrounded by calligraphy. Bronze rings and hanger at top. Considerable blue, green and red pigmentation is still present. A number of colorful embroidered animals are attached, including four birds, one fish and one butterfly. All are vibrant and original. Eight colored and embroidered ribbons are attached around the periphery of the main piece with brass rings. The ribbons have a total of forty-two coins, four seed coins and one charm attached. Some pigment still remains on the attached pieces. Overall a wholesome example.

81.93 x 94.64 mm。曼德爾書101.3。正面壽字在中心人物在兩側,蝙蝠圍繞。反面花草,三隻鳥及文字。所有黃銅環和紫色掛繩在頂端。藍色及綠色塗料均完好。有許多上色的動物圖形,如四隻鳥、一條魚及一隻蝴蝶。八條彩帶計42枚銅錢、4枚子錢及1枚花錢。若干的塗料仍在。非常漂亮的一件。 VERY FINE.
