This profusely illustrated, massive tome, commemorates the involvement of Jewish soldiers from the British Isles, Australia and New Zealand during the martial conflict of 1914-1918. Within the context of Zionist history and the redemption of Palestine from the Ottoman Turks, this volume acknowledges the individual Jews, who with their counterparts, personally fought for that redemption as the first step in the creation of Palestine as a future homeland for the Jewish People.
