SICILY. Syracuse. Agathocles (317-289 BC). EL 50 litrae (15mm, 3.55 gm, 2h). Struck ca. 310-305 BC. Laureate head of Apollo left; lyre behind head / ΣYΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ, tripod with high ring handles. Jenkins group , O4/R8. SNG Copenhagen 704 (Dionysios I & II; same obverse die). Cf. SNG ANS 621ff (different symbols). Nicely struck and well centered. NGC Choice XF 5/5 - 4/5.
