Leopold I the Hogmouth Taler 1704 MS65 PCGS, Hall mint, KM1303.4, Dav-3245. A remarkable Gem, certainly among the finest extant for the type, with pleasing tan and olive-gray cabinet patina and underlying flash that captures the eye's attention. The surfaces bear almost no marks and the strike is simply superb with essentially perfect definition of all of Leopold's hair curls and laureate leaves. While common as a type, this piece is anything but, and as such, deserves full attention from the collector that accepts only the finest.
