Republic gold 8 Escudos 1840 PTS-LR MS62 NGC, Potosi mint, KM, Fr-21. A very lustrous Mint State coin and thus in very desirable condition for the type. Fully comparable to the similarly graded Newman coin recently sold by us, and probably more desirable since the bust of Bolivar appears with fewer marks than that piece and the light adjustment marks seen on the reverse are not distracting.From The Law Collection
