Louis XV Ecu 1774-L MS62 NGC, Bayonne mint, KM551.9, Dav-1332. A charming survivor with sparkling multicolored tone around the outer legends and moderately toned grayish-brown centers. As is typical of this type, pre-production imperfections include weakness of strike, that has left some planchet adjustment marks in the reverse centers, as well as a scattering of tiny annealing marks or "haymarks" that mostly confine themselves to the obverse.
