Viking Coinage of York (c.895-902). Cnut Cunnetti Penny ND MS63 PCGS, York mint, S-993, North-501. + CИVT (in chrismatic form) REX, a patriarchal cross with two crosslets in angles / +CVNNETTI, small cross with two pellets. Well-struck on an excellent round flan of good metal, no cracks or chips, one peck-mark left of the small cross. A few ancient vague scratches are noted under the wonderful reddish gray patina.
