Edward III (1327-77) gold 1/2 Noble 1351-61 MS64 NGC, London mint, Pre-Treaty Series G, S-1494, North-1184 (S). Crowned king with sword and shield standing facing in ship, annulet stops in titles / Floriate cross with closed "Є" in central quadrilobe, Cross 3 mm. A handsome example with well-detailed centers contrasting with some weakness in the legends. (Note: The NGC attribution of S-1485 is incorrect)
