Henry V (1413-22) gold Noble ND AU Details (Damaged) NGC, London mint, S-1742, North-1371 (S). Crowned king with sword and shield standing facing in ship with broken annulet on the side, a mullet by his sword arm / Floriate cross with h in central quadrilobe, cross potent mm. An attractive example of this issue with the devices little affected by the damage noted by NGC. The edge of the flan from 7 to 9 o'clock on the obverse appears to have been bent and straightened in the past, resulting in some waviness. The legends, however, are quite clear as are the devices with minimal softness of strike.
