Henry VI (First Reign, 1422-61) gold Noble 1422-c.1430 AU58 NGC, London mint, Annulet Issue, Lis mm, S-1799, North-1414. Crowned king with sword and shield standing facing in ship, an annulet by his sword arm / Floriate cross with h in central quadrilobe, an annulet in one spandrel. A lightly toned piece with crisply-struck devices and minimal striking weakness. Although the module is ever-so-slightly off-center, the surfaces retain ample residual luster lending towards superior eye-appeal.
